How do I configure my Personal home page?
After logging into your page at home.canby.com you can configure pages to customize news feeds and personal information. You can move information boxes to where you want, add more news feeds, and view email status.
Move boxes by dragging the top blue bar and dropping where you want it on that page. If a box won't fit in a spot it will move back to the original location.
Delete boxes by clicking on the X in the upper right corner
Add boxes in the feeds display (main box). Boxes are specific to the section you are in, e.g. the Entertainment screen will have additional entertainment related feeds. You can also add Internet RSS news from any web site that provides RSS feeds.
Why do I need to sign in?
The personal page contains specific information such as items in your email inbox. Signing in prevents others from viewing that information while allowing you to log in from any computer.
Will I have to enter my username and password every time I visit?
Yes. To make it easier, on your personal computer you can have the browser remember your name and password so it only takes one click to log in after the first time. If you are using someone else's computer or a public computer do NOT have the browser remember the log in information to keep your information secure.
Can members of my family register their own accounts so they can have their own personalized settings?
Yes! Pages are accessed using Canby/Web-ster email addresses. Your account can have up to 5 email addresses at no extra charge (additional email addresses are available at a nominal charge). Each email address can have its own customized page.
