How to Set Up a Dial-Up Connetion for Macintosh OS 8.5 - 9.x
- Click the Apple menu.
- Select Control Panel.

Click TCP/IP.
- From the Connect via: drop-down menu, select PPP.
- From the Configure: drop-down menu, select Using PPP Server.
- Close the TCP/IP window. If necessary, save your changes.
- Click the Apple menu.
- Select Control Panel.

Mac OS 8.5 users: Click PPP. Mac OS 9.x users: Click Remote Access.

- In the Name field, enter your username (in all lowercase letters).
- In the Password field, enter your password.
- In the Number field, enter the Web-ster Dial-up phone number: 503-263-4593.
- Click Connect.

The dial-up connection on your Macintosh should now be complete. Your connection status should appear as follows:
