Adding an e-mail account

To add a second e-mail account in Netscape, launch Netscape and then open the Window menu. Alternatively, you can click the Mail icon. (For reference, see the screen shots below.)

The Inbox window opens, displaying your existing e-mail account, as seen in the example below.

Open the File menu. From the drop-down menu, select New and then select Account.

The Account Wizard opens. This Account Wizard steps you through the process of adding an e-mail account. Make sure Email Account is selected, and then click Next.

In the Your Name field, enter the name for the second e-mail account. (Note: Make sure the name is different from the name of your first e-mail account.) In the Email Address field, enter the e-mail address for the account. For reference, see the screen shot below.

In the Incoming Server field, enter mail.web-ster.com and then click Next.

In the User Name field, enter your e-mail address and then click Next.

In the Account Name field, enter an account description that will help you identify the new account. (The example below uses the default Account Name, account2.) After entering the Account Name, click Next.

The Account Wizard now presents your account information as you have entered it. If the information is correct, click Finish to complete the account setup.

The Account Wizard asks you to enter a password for the new account. If you want the Password Manager to remember your password automatically each time you log in to your account, check the box.

Your second account now appears in the folder tree on the left side of the Inbox window. For reference, see the screen shot below.
Your second e-mail account is now set up in Netscape 7.x.
