Virtual Drive

Web Access

 

When accessing your files using a public computer you may not want to install the Virtual Drive software. To make accessing your files easier and more secure Virtual Drive space can be accessed using any web browser.

Go to http://virtual.web-ster.com/.

Enter your User Name and Password. If you are using a public or shared computer do not have Windows save the password information!

Files

Your files will show up as icons on the web site.

You can access file functions by clicking on the file and use the menu in the lower right of the screen.

File Menu Download will copy the file to the computer you are using.
Delete will remove the file
Copy will copy the file to another file on your Virtual Drive
Move will move the file to a directory on your Virtual Drive

 

Clicking on the file name in the main screen will allow you to open the file in the web browser or save the file to your computer.

Upload New File (in upper right corner) copies a file, or multiple files, from your computer to the Virtual Drive.

Directory Folders

Directory Folders

You start in your Home Folder. Enter directory folders by clicking on the folder icon. Return to the Home Folder using the Back folder icon or the browser's Back button.

When a file is not selected the lower right menu shows directory folder functions.

Directory Menu

Make Directory creates a new directory in the current location.
Upload File copies a file from your computer to the Virtual Drive.
Delete removes the directory you are in (selection only shows up when you are in a sub-directory folder).
Move will move all the files in the current directory to another location (selection only shows up when you are in a sub-directory folder).

 

Storage Use

On the top of the page is a status bar that shows how much of your drive space is used and available - used/available.

When done, log off using the logoff link in the upper right corner. Not logging off may leave your files accessible to others using the computer!
